September 30 is a day to remember, reflect and listen. On National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, we recognize the lasting impacts of the residential school system and encourage our team and community to make space for Indigenous voices, stories and experiences. It is also an opportunity to consider what reconciliation means in the places where we live and work - not only today, but throughout the year.
On September 27, people around the world will mark World Rivers Day - an opportunity to recognize the extraordinary value of rivers and the importance of protecting them for the future. For Energy Alberta, it’s also an opportunity to celebrate a river that is central to the region where we are planning the Peace River Nuclear Power Project.
